Kate Raneri is one of the two guitarists (and provides the occasional backup vocal) in Girlfriend From Hell. She’s from Long Island, New York, and is a senior illustration student at Savannah College of Art and Design. Kate has loved music forever and has wanted to be in a band since the beginning of high school. Needless to say, Girlfriend from Hell has been a long-awaited dream of hers. Her music taste is all over the place despite being in a punk band, artists like Lady Gaga, boy genius, and Mommy Long Legs have been on repeat for them recently. When it comes to visual art, their art usually has to do with music in some way, whether it’s drawing musicians, music equipment, or merch designs. Back at home, Kate has three dogs she loves so much, Ozzy, Angie, and Bruce. When they're not drawing or zoning out with headphones on, you can find them playing Minecraft on Discord with friends or dropping a little too much money securing concert tickets. Jaida Maceyko is one of the guitarists and backup vocalists in Girlfriend From Hell. She was born and raised in Savannah, GA. She studied film at Savannah Arts Academy and Savannah Tech for a few years until she discovered the local music scene. After struggling to pay bills for a while she met Natalie, Kate, and Alix a little over a year ago and when they created Girlfriend from Hell. She’s known for her affinity for the color blue and American Traditional tattoos. She dabbles in witchcraft in her free time, and playing The Sims 4 is her second passion in life. If she wasn’t in Girlfriend from Hell now, she would be making bank off of live-streaming her Sims adventures.
Alix Lemiere is the drummer of Girlfriend From Hell, shipped straight from Jersey. This emo-goth came to Savannah for SCAD and studied in Motion Media, and charged right into the punk scene with a nasty swinging two-step. Here is where she fell in love with drumming, her heart impaled with a drumstick through it. She has fast beats and a deep scream, and pages worth of sketches for Girlfriend From Hell visuals. When she’s not rocking out, she’s an animal lover and activist for the little guys and knows everything there is about rabbits. She’s a green witch, a Virgo, and a plant momma. While she can only be spotted wearing black (sometimes white!) she loves making colorful artwork and animations. Most of the time she’s got a monster energy in hand and her nose in Adobe software with hearts in her illustration/design-loving eyes. To see her work, head over to Instagram!
Natalie Durham is the bassist and lead vocalist for Girlfriend From Hell! While she has spent most of her life in Savannah, GA, she was originally born in Maine, and for those of you who care, her zodiac sign is Leo. Natalie has always been into alternative music such as hardcore, post-punk, industrial, and noise rock. However, after discovering the Riot grrrl movement in her teenage years, her love for the punk subculture flourished. Inspired by these bands and their powerful messages, and the local punk scene around her, the urge to form a femme-punk band of her own was stronger than ever. Her string instrument experience started with guitar, however, she quickly realized bass was more her speed. With little to no prior vocal experience, Natalie was able to find her voice through sassy lyrics and harsh screams. Aside from music, Natalie is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing in illustration. Their art mostly contains strange, gruesome, but somehow kind of cute subject matters such as little demon guys and torn-apart stuffed animals. When she’s not at band practice or working on art, you can find her overdressing for every occasion, eating too many sweets, practicing tarot, and cuddling with her cat Lilith.
